Cinque piccole costruzioni
abbracciate strettamente, ristrutturate lasciando intatte le loro
caratteristiche: questa è Vignabella. Le casette sono nate in epoche
diverse, dagli inizi dell’800 agli inizi del ‘900 (l’ultima è del 1917),
in pietra a vista e le dimensioni delle stanze sono quelle date dai
vecchi costruttori. Abbiamo creato tra le vecchie cantine dei vini e le
stallette degli animali tanti passaggi che danno vita alle sale da
pranzo, ai salotti ed alla cucina e che sono pronte ad accogliere gli
ospiti. Abbiamo lasciato il vecchio e vissuto cotto al pavimento e le
pietre a vista nelle vecchie arcate che sostengono la casa….e tutto ciò
è circondato dal verde dell’erba, dei castagni secolari, dei ciliegi,
dei pini e delle mimose. A primavera, il bordo del ruscelletto che
scorre nel prato si riempie di narcisi selvatici.
Dalle stanze quello che si vede è bosco, prato, e le montagne in
distanza, di là del fiume Magra….gli scoiattoli che vengono a far
provviste di nocciole e castagne, i fagiani, che non disdegnano l’uva
delle nostre vigne ed i cinghiali, le lepri, i pettirossi e le tortore.
La colazione che vi proponiamo è a base di torte fatte in casa, di
marmellate e miele D.O.P., di pecorino e salumi della zona e di pane
cotto al forno a legna adagiato sulle foglie dei castagni che potrete
gustare nei salotti e nelle sale da pranzo oppure all’aperto nel
cortiletto o nelle terrazze intorno al B&B, accompagnando il tutto
magari con del vino bianco prodotto con le nostre vigne. Vi aspettiamo!!

Five little buildings tightly connected together,
refurbished leaving their characteristics untouched: this is Vignabella. The
small houses were born in different ages, since the beginning of the XIX to
the first decades of the XX century (the last one dates back to 1917); they
are made of stones and the rooms dimensions are those given by the old
builders. Between the old wine cellars and the small stables we created
several passages that set up dining-rooms. living-rooms and the kitchen,
which are ready to welcome the guests. We left the ancient terracotta in the
pavement and the stones in the old arches that support the building... And
all that is surrounded by green grass, secular chesnuts, cherry-trees, pines
and mimosas. In springtime the bank of the streamlet that flows along the
meadow fills with wild narcissuses. From the rooms you can see the wood, the
meadow and the mountains in the distance, beyond the river Magra... and also
squirtles, which come to get in supplies of hazel-nuts and chesnuts;
pheasants, which do not scorn the grapes of our vineyards; and then wild
boars, hares, robins and turtle-doves.
